TSCHK2 license agreement: No action IBISCHK7.0.2 development: Bob said we were close to creating a development contract document. Mike LaBonte asked if we would fix BUG202. Mike showed BUG202 and gave an overview. He wondered if ibischk could handle the error more gracefully, possibly by catching a signal when a dynamic model load fails. He asked if we should mark it WON'T FIX if not. Bob Ross agreed we might not fix it. He said we might compile an ibischk on an older Linux to make it compatible, but he felt that there should be a cutoff where we consider support deprecated. Mike said compiling on an older Linux would not help, because the problem was between the model maker's Linux and the user's Linux, not the Linux used to compile IBISCHK. Randy Wolff agreed we should not fix it. Mike noted that in the case where IBISCHK fails, the model could not be simulated either. All agreed to propose reclassifification of the bug as WON'T FIX at the next Open Forum meeting. We reviewed other open IBISCHK bugs. Mike asked if we should wait. Bob said BUG213 compelled a fix soon. Randy noted that we want to have a clean IBISCHK7 ahead of IBIS 7.1, but he agreed that BUG213 should be fixed. All agreed that BUG213 prevented valid models from being passed, and that BUG202 would not be fixed. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - IBIS-ISS parser Bob Ross moved to adjourn. Randy Wolff seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 11:33 ET Next meeting May 19, 2020
